Hi! I’m the Cowles Library Dean, and the Librarian Liaison for the Zimpleman College of Business and the Department of Psychology. I have an MBA from Drake, an MLS from the University of Iowa, and I’ve been a faculty librarian at Drake for many years. Most recently, I’ve overseen the Scholarly Communications & Collaborations Department and the Library Liaison program.

My goals:

  • to ensure that students and faculty have the library resources they need to be successful at Drake and beyond;
  • that the library provides the right services and spaces to meet student and faculty needs;
  • expanding Drake's use of Open Educational Resources (OER) to ensure that students have wider and more affordable access to learning materials.

Here is a list of my professional presentations and publications.

My outside interests include reading (of course!), supporting Drake Women’s Basketball (I’ve been a season ticket holder for more than 30 years), and traveling (recent destinations include Iceland and Hawaii).
