"A hate group is a social group that advocates and practices hatred, hostility, or violence towards members of a race, ethnicity, nation, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other designated sector of society."
--As defined by the ALA, American Library Association
Founded in 1930, consistently traffics in antisemitism, homophobia, and anti-white bigotry.
Reframes serious issues facing the black community, such as economic inequality and police brutality...blaming Jews rather than the systemic racism.
“Pedophilia and sexual perversion institutionalized in Hollywood and the entertainment industries can be traced to Talmudic principles and Jewish influence." – Louis Farrakhan, Saviours’ Day speech, Feb. 17, 2019
Due to the calls for racial separation, hatred of Jewish people and LGBTQ+ community, NOI is extremely attractive to white supremacy groups. Farrakhan collaborated with the American Nazi Party leader, George Lincoln Rockwell, and White Aryan Resistance founder, Tom Metzger, to establish potential working conditions between their groups.
NOI national spokesman, Louis Farrakhan, is an avid promoter of conspiracy theories and authoritarian governments. He believes homosexuality is the result of a chemical reaction created by the government to castrate African Americans, and that prominent Jewish families are part of the ruling class controlling the world for nefarious purposes.
-- NATION OF ISLAM, Southern Poverty Law Center
Founded in 1987, the CODOH has promoted and published antisemitic and revisionist conspiracy theories under the guise of free speech.
"...we no longer believe the German State pursued a plan to kill all Jews or used homicidal ‘gassing chambers’ for mass murder during the years of World War II.” - From the CODOH website.
Started under the guise of "intellectual freedom" and "truth," ignoring evidence of the Holocaust. Instead providing illegitimate sources that masquerade as peer-researched academic inquiry and scholarship.
Starting in 1987, and continuing for nearly 15 years, the Committee for Open Debate on the Holocaust focused its disinformation campaign on college campuses, with a desire to influence young voters. Paying for advertisements published as op-ed pieces, hoping to spark debate and uncertainty.
Today, the CODOH is focused on continuing its masquerade as a legitimate academic entity, purchasing a publisher to release its revisionist materials and advertising through online methods.
