Using ArchivesSpace Finding Aids

The Drake University Archives and Special Collections uses ArchivesSpace finding aids to provide online access to its archival collections. These finding aids offer detailed descriptions of collections and place them in context by including information such as:

  • acquisition and processing

  • provenance, including administrative history or biographical note

  • scope of the collection, including size, subjects, media

  • organization and arrangement, often with an inventory of the series and the folders in the collection
