The box below is used to deliver system-wide notices (e.g., outages, emergency messages, closings, etc.) across our Springshare products. DO NOT DELETE the box.

There are different message styles, depending on the severity of the message. Change the class name in the HTML markup to change the color and icon of the message box:

Classname: callout-danger

Classname: callout-warning

Classname: callout

Classname: callout-noicon

Once you've modified the system-wide message, edit the du-theme.css file to change the #system-notice display from "none" to "block".

Currently, this notice appears on:

  • the library's homepage
  • all Research Database pages
  • Library Help homepage
