We have received numerous reports of users getting a “Spyware/Virus Download Blocked” message when trying to get to some databases or other web content, particularly EBSCO. Drake ITS is aware of this issue and is working on a solution. They will post any updates to the News section of the ITS website. In the meantime, if you are unable to load a particular website from on campus, please try entering https:// before the rest of the URL instead of http://. In some cases this resolves the issue. Other potential fixes include trying a different browser or refreshing your page.
