Searching for Missing Items

If a book or audio-visual item is not on the shelf:

  • Check the item’s record on the Electronic card catalog to make sure it is not checked out.
  • Go to the All Services Desk on the First Floor to ask a staff member or student worker for help.
  • Staff or a student worker will double check the shelf for the item. If it is not found, you will be asked to fill out a search card about the missing item.
  • In-depth searches for the item will be conducted by Staff, and you will be notified of the results.
